Jewelry & Watch Sales Associate

Job Summary:

GoldenTime Jewelers is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Jewelry & Watch Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you’ll assist customers with selecting fine jewelry and timepieces, provide exceptional service, and perform basic in-store services such as watch battery replacements, strap adjustments, and minor watch repairs. We're seeking someone who is passionate about jewelry, confident in customer-facing interactions, and comfortable working with small tools for light technical tasks. Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome and assist customers with purchases and questions

• Offer product recommendations and explain features and materials

• Perform basic watch services (battery changes, bracelet sizing, strap replacements)

• Handle jewelry cleaning, sizing, and minor repairs (training provided)

• Maintain visual merchandising and showcase cleanliness

• Process sales, returns, and exchanges accurately

• Restock and organize inventory as needed

• Record repair intakes and custom order requests

• Uphold security and handling standards for high-value merchandise

• Build rapport with customers to encourage repeat business

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Retail or sales experience preferred (jewelry or watch knowledge is a bonus)

• Basic understanding of watches and small tools (training available)

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Detail-oriented and dependable

• Professional appearance and attitude

• Ability to handle small items with care and precision

• Comfortable with basic computer systems and POS

• Flexible availability (weekends/holidays required)
